1:1 Information for Students and Parents
Because we believe that student engagement is enhanced by greater access to technology, Phenix City Schools has adopted a 1:1 initiative. At PCIS, an iPad is available to all students. Chromebooks are available to students in grades 8-12. Usage of the devices is governed by the PCBOE Acceptable Use Policy, found on pp.42-47 of the PCBOE Student Code of Conduct. Parents are encouraged to take advantage of the Tips for Parents resource, as well as the following information provided at Parent Nights.
